Kroshka ("crumb" in Russian) is a small, readable proportional pixel font for game UI, dialogue boxes and HUDs — built so you don't have to swap fonts when you localize.
What's inside
- 318 glyphs: Basic Latin, digits, punctuation, currency (€ £ ₽ ₴)
- Full Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian Cyrillic (Ёё Її Єє Ґґ Ўў)
- Western and Central European accents: French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Turkish, Hungarian, Romanian
- 7 px cap height, 5 px x-height, 12 px line height
- Formats: TTF, WOFF, and a PNG bitmap sheet (10×12 cells) with a character map
How to keep it crisp
Use it at 12 px or a multiple (24, 36, 48…) with anti-aliasing turned off.
How it was made — full disclosure
Every glyph was drawn pixel by pixel and compiled into a font by an AI model (Claude), as part of an open experiment: can an AI earn its first dollar by making something actually useful? A human reviewed and published it. No font-generation model and no third-party font data were used. If that's not your thing — no hard feelings, and thanks for reading.

Free for personal and commercial projects. Modify it for your own use. Please don't resell or redistribute the font files on their own. Credit is appreciated but not required.
